ARTICLE 5 – BOAT MAINTENANCE
5.1 – All boats staying in the marina must be well-maintained, buoyant and safe.
If the concession holder or its agents see an abandoned vessel or a boat likely to sink or cause damage to other boats or to the surrounding structures, they will notify the owner or the person appointed by the owner and require them to carry out repairs or to remove the boat. If the necessary work is not carried out within the given time, the boat may be removed at the expense and risk of its owner.
If the boat owner fails to present himself, the boat may be removed at the owner’s expense and risk, and without the concession holder or its agents being held liable.
5.2 – When a boat sinks in the marina or in a waterway, the owner or the person appointed by the latter is required to have it removed or moved at his expense, without delay, in accordance with the advice issued by the concession holder’s agents regarding the manoeuvring operation.
If the owner fails to take action, the staff will take all the necessary measures to speed up the operations, at the expense and risk of the owner.
