ARTICLE 22: COMMITMENTS FROM MANOEUVRE OPERATORS

Any person or organisation issued with a key undertakes to:

− comply with these regulations covering the use and operation of the walkway manoeuvring system (appendix 1);
− not to lend the key to anyone from outside his organisation. It is forbidden to make a copy of the key;
− when manoeuvring the walkway, ensure the safety of anyone in the vicinity, and particularly children; no one should be on the walkway or within its manoeuvring area (see diagram included in appendix 2).
− close the walkway and lock it into its base after the boat has moved through and after each manoeuvre;
− in the event of operational issues, call the Harbour Master’s office at Roanne marina (04 77 72 59 96).
