To improve the quality of life at Castets-en-Dorthe Marina, a good environmental practice charter has been introduced.

VISITORS UNDERTAKE TO RESPECT LIFE AT THE MARINA BY:

• Keeping noise down

• Applying the relevant instructions

• Complying with the safety instructions

• Preserving water and not bathing in it

MARINA USERS UNDERTAKE TO MAINTAIN THEIR ENVIRONMENT BY:

• Keeping the site clean and tidy,

• Sorting waste for recycling and thus

protecting our natural resources (less raw materials required)

• Collecting boat bilge water and waste water and having it treated properly

to prevent it from being discharged into the natural environment (pollution, olfactory and visual nuisance, etc.)

• Improving access for disabled people within the marina

• Collecting your hazardous waste, such as used oil, and having it treated properly.

CASTETS-EN-DORTHE MARINA UNDERTAKES TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE BY:

• Complying with all the relevant environmental and safety instructions

• Fighting waste

• Not throwing anything into the water

• Informing marina staff of pollution

• Maintaining all available equipment
